Australian Eventer Bill Levett’s Horses Winter Well on SUCCEED

Bill Levett, Barbury International 2014Bill Levett is an Australia eventer who has been based in the UK since 1994. His successes include multiple top ten placings at 4* events including Burghley, Badminton, and Luhmuhlen as well as representing Australia in the 2014 World Equestrian Games. Bill started using SUCCEED when one of his part owners, also a veterinarian, suggested trying it with their horse who was not doing well despite a quality, forage-based diet.

Bill is looking forward to an exciting 2015 season, starting with Badminton in the spring:

“All of our horses have wintered really well,” Bill shares, “and we are really pleased with how they’ve held their weight and muscle over the winter months – thanks to the help of SUCCEED. It really does make our job so much easier as all the horses, even the fussy eaters and poor doers, seem to thrive on SUCCEED. It  ensures they maximise the digestion of the quality hard feed and haylage we give them.

“It has been particularly helpful with Drakkar who arrived in early December from New Zealand and has had rather a shock to his system coming from the sunshine of New Zealand to the depths of our English winter,” Bill continues. “Succeed has been hugely helpful in ensuring he has had a smooth transition in to our management system which is a very different physical environment vs New Zealand”.

“Preparations are well under way for the coming season with the eventing season only 8 weeks away,” Bill shares. “We are looking forward to an exciting season with Badminton among our Spring goals!”
